Antpool offers to refund affected user the 83 BTC gas fee

Cryptocurrency mining platform Antpool published renew On November 30, it said it would refund 83 Bitcoin (BTC) in gas fees.

The company said its risk control system temporarily froze fees when packaging transactions, so fees will be refunded to affected users after their identities are verified.

Affected users must submit detailed information to Antpool through the preparation signature tool (Electrum or Bitcoin Core) before 00:00 on December 10 (UTC+8), and then use the private key of the wallet address given by Antpool to sign the band. There is a message with the code “AntPool”.

On November 23, a Bitcoin user on the platform was charged a gas fee of 83 Bitcoin (BTC), equivalent to approximately $3.1 million at the time, for transferring 139 Bitcoin (BTC).
