The Apple MacBook Air using the M1 chip was released in November 2020, equipped with a 13.3-inch IPS Retina display and a battery life of up to 18 hours. Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale will launch on October 8 along with Flipkart’s Big Billions Day Sale and the e-commerce sites are expected to offer some lucrative discounts and other offers on various items including electronics. Ahead of the launch, MacBook Air laptops equipped with M1 chips will be available in India at a lower price.

Customers can also avail additional banking offers and even opt for exchange options to buy laptops at lower prices. Neither Apple nor Amazon have confirmed whether the price tag will remain unchanged during the upcoming sale. The laptop is available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray color options.
Apple MacBook Air M1 specifications
MacBook Air M1 is equipped with a 13.3-inch IPS Retina display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It is powered by Apple M1 chip with 8-core CPU, 7/8-core GPU and 16-core neural engine. It claims battery life of up to 18 hours. This laptop comes pre-installed with MacOS BigSur.
MacBook Air M1 supports Dolby Atmos enhanced dual speakers and is equipped with a three-microphone array and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This laptop comes with a Force Touch trackpad and a backlit Magic Keyboard. It also comes with a Touch ID sensor and an HD FaceTime camera. Finally, it supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connections.
Apple also launched the MacBook Air equipped with M2 chips as the successor to the MacBook Air M1. The new version comes in two sizes – 13 inches and 15 inches. These models run MacOS Monterey out of the box.
