According to the 21Shares website, the two companies will use On-chain signals and their crypto-native experience enable “long-term capital appreciation” by investing in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) futures contracts.
Five products are scheduled to begin trading next week, according to a prospectus released by the company. Additionally, the ETFs will be listed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE).
The company also emphasized that it will not provide investors with the opportunity to directly invest in “spot” Bitcoin. In a disclaimer, the company emphasized that investors looking to invest in the price of Bitcoin should consider other forms of investment.
In addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum futures, there is also a product called “ARK 21Shares Blockchain and Digital Economy Innovation ETF” It also aims to invest in public equity of companies within the blockchain industry. According to 21Shares, this provides investors with “full exposure” to blockchain technology developments.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg analysts speculated that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has a window to approve a Bitcoin ETF application. On November 8, analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas wrote that if the SEC decides to allow the concept, the SEC may approve all 12 ETF applications. However, analysts also emphasized that this is only a possibility and there is no concrete news yet.
