Audi on Monday unveiled its new all-electric Q6 e-tron SUV, the first production vehicle based on its next-generation electric vehicle architecture.

The car brings the next generation of electric vehicles to Audi, which continues to offer more all-electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles despite a recent slowdown in EV growth.
Audi confirmed that it plans to launch about 20 new or significantly redesigned models and derivative models globally by 2025, more than half of which will be electric models.

The Q6 e-tron quattro and “S” performance versions will be available to order in Europe this month, with prices starting at €74,400 (approximately US$81,000) and €93,800 (approximately US$102,030) respectively. According to European testing standards, the Q6 e-tron has an estimated range of 625 kilometers (388 miles) on a single charge.
Top performance specs in the U.S. include up to 510 hp, a top speed of 143 mph, and a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds.
Audi says the U.S. version is expected to have a range of more than 300 miles on a single charge.
An Audi spokesman said exact U.S. pricing, range and model details for the midsize SUV are expected when it goes on sale domestically later this year.
Audi currently offers the all-electric Q4 and Q8 SUVs in the U.S., as well as the $106,500 GT sedan.
The Q6 e-tron features new yet familiar Audi design, including sleek headlights, a mesh grille and an overall aggressive exterior design.
The new electric vehicle platform includes an 800-volt battery architecture and a maximum charging capacity of 270 kWh.
