Taylor Swift is about to release a concert film. And now Beyoncé is doing the same.a record Beyonce’s AMC Theaters announced on Monday that the just-concluded 39-city Renaissance World Tour will premiere in North American theaters on December 1.
The film adds a second musical superstar blockbuster to the fall movie slate slightly thinner through ongoing Screen actors strike.Just like “Taylor Swift: Time Tour” Premieres on October 13th, “Renaissance: The Beyoncé Movie” will be distributed directly by theater chain AMC without studio involvement.
Tickets start at $22 (tax included). AMC said the film will run for at least four weeks.
Beyoncé’s previous films include the critically acclaimed 2019 Netflix film “Return” It documents her performance at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival. Both Beyoncé and Swift reportedly received at least 50% of ticket sales in their deals with AMC.
