BYJU’s Senior Vice President International, Cherian Thomas, has resigned from the company and will now lead Impending in the US.
As CEO, Thomas will focus on building and expanding the product portfolio while strengthening and growing the global talent pool, Impending Inc said in a statement.
Emails sent to BYJU’S have not received any response.
A BYJU’S source confirmed Thomas’ departure but had no comment on his successor.

Thomas is credited as the architect behind BYJU’s expansion in the US, while also leading the business (as its CEO) of BYJU’s subsidiary Osmo, which is reporting over $100 million (nearly Rs. ). release.
He became BYJU’S’s first international employee in 2017 and is credited with establishing the international organization, the statement said.
Thomas co-founded food blogging platform Cucumbertown in 2012 and sold the venture-backed startup to Japanese conglomerate Cookpad in 2016. He was also one of the earliest employees of gaming company Zynga, working with the company until its 2011 IPO.
Impending is the studio behind apps like the video game Heads Up and Here Kitty, as well as the list app Clear.
