A Detroit synagogue president was found stabbed to death outside his home on Saturday, police said. The motive is unclear.

Emergency medical personnel pronounced the woman, whom Mayor Mike Duggan identified in a statement as Samantha Wall, dead at the scene. Dan Donakovsky said.
