Domino’s offers free ‘Emergency Pizza’

Domino’s hopes to spark some goodwill among its customers by easily offering free pizza. The chain has launched a new promotion offering customers a free “emergency pizza.”

Of course, there are some hurdles you have to jump through. To get the free pizza, you must first place an order of $7.99 or more and then log in or join the Domino’s Rewards program within 7 days.

From that point on, you’ll have 30 days to redeem your free medium two-topping pizza. (Please note that you will not be able to get emergency pizza on Super Bowl Sunday, October 31, December 31, or February 11.)

February 11th is also the last day of the sale.

“With so much uncertainty in our daily lives, we believe everyone needs a pizza pick-me-up at some point,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a statement. “

You can only get one emergency pizza during the promotion, but it can be combined with other offers. Shipping charges will apply.

Domino’s has spent much of this year on a PR push, launching new initiatives such as allowing people to order pizza from anywhere through Apple CarPlay. Thanks to enthusiasm from stores and franchisees, the company also plans to add more than 300 vehicles to its Chevrolet Bolt delivery fleet, bringing the total to more than 1,100 vehicles.

The company’s most recent earnings report missed analysts’ expectations. Total revenue fell 3.9% to $1.03 billion.
