Google Cloud has partnered with blockchain infrastructure company MultiversX (formerly Elrond) to boost its Web 3 presence. Google Cloud has integrated MultiversX into the platform, which will help Web3 projects and users gain valuable insights from the powerful data analysis and artificial intelligence tools in the Google Cloud ecosystem.
MultiversX claims that the collaboration between the two companies has the potential to immediately simplify the execution of large-scale, data-first blockchain projects. The company says this should help developers easily access data about addresses, transaction amounts, smart contract interactions and increased on-chain analytics.
On the other hand, Google Cloud’s participation in the MultiversX network will enable ecosystem builders to leverage the advanced tools and services available on the platform to bring high performance and scalability to the non-blockchain components of their decentralized applications dApps. Daniel Rood, Director of Google Cloud Web3 EMEA added:
“There are exciting opportunities for Web3 developers to build and scale faster, and as we explore new verticals in the space, our partnership with MultiversX will allow us to expand our strategy and further solidify our position as a Web3 developer.” Position as one of the main drivers of innovation in the blockchain world.”
MultiversX has also entered into various partnerships with major brands in the past to drive Web3 use cases in the traditional world. Europe’s first digital asset institutional market ICI D|SERVICES and Audi’s in-car virtual reality platform holoride have both chosen MultiversX as their preferred platform.
The blockchain infrastructure company focused on Metaverse scalability also announced a series of new scalable features for its decentralized digital asset wallet, xPortal SuperApp. The updated functionality will allow users to easily handle fiat and cryptocurrency funds. By early 2024, users of xPortal will have access to peer-to-peer fiat payments as well as European IBAN, SEPA and SWIFT.
The platform also announced the launch of the xWorlds Developer Kit, which provides a unique set of tools that allow creators to build next-generation augmented reality experiences using xPortal as a wallet and distribution hub. The kit also includes highly realistic artificial intelligence 3D avatars.
