
The Google Pixel 8 series of smartphones will be launched along with the Pixel Watch 2 on October 4. The smartphone lineup includes Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Both phones will be available in India from October 5. Ahead of the launch, news about the upcoming smartphone series and Google smartwatch have been leaked multiple times. A new report has now leaked press renders of the Google Pixel 8 series and Pixel Watch 2, revealing the design and hinting at the device’s specifications.
A report from WinFuture disclose Press renders of the upcoming device. The base version of this smartphone series, Google Pixel 8, is said to feature a 6.17-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120HZ and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. At the same time, it is reported that the Pixel 8 Pro will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display panel with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. It can also offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

According to reports, Pixel 8 will come with 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB storage versions. It is said to be powered by Google Tensor G3 SoC. The Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, will get three storage configurations: a 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model, another 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option, and a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model.
In terms of optics, both smartphones come with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. However, the Google Pixel 8 will feature a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots in a dual-camera unit, while the Pixel 8 Pro is said to feature a triple-camera unit that includes a 64-megapixel and a 48-megapixel Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, both models are expected to feature 11-megapixel sensors.
Talking about the price range, the Pixel 8 is expected to start at €799 (nearly Rs. 70,200), while the Google Pixel 8 Pro may start at €1,099 (nearly Rs. 96,500).

Next is the Pixel Watch 2, which is said to have a 1.2-inch OLED display. The company could use the Snapdragon W5 Gen1 chipset in the wearable device. It is reported to come with 2GB RAM. The smartwatch will come with all smart features such as an optical heart rate monitor, oxygen saturation tracker, and multi-function sensors. It can run Wear OS 4 and is expected to come with a 306mAH battery. Pixel Watch 2 is likely to start at €399 (nearly Rs. 35,000).
