The Google Pixel 8 was launched earlier this month alongside the Pixel 8 Pro. The smartphones support dual-SIM and run Android 14 out of the box. The Pro version of the Pixel 8 series comes with a 6.7-inch Quad HD (1,344×2,992 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.The smartphone also performed well on DxOMark recently Show ranking, ensuring the top spot. From smooth touch to viewing experience, the Pixel 8 Pro scored high in every department from the ranking site.
PhoneArena now-deleted report (via Electronic equipment) cited the Google Pixel 8 Pro’s top spot in the DxOMark display rankings. According to the ranking on the official website, this smartphone has good screen readability in all environments, pleasant screen colors, and a solid HDR video experience. The Pixel 8 Pro was also appreciated for its smooth web browsing and premium sound quality from its built-in speakers. The site also mentions a shortcoming of the latest smartphones, which includes limited audio zoom capabilities.

The smartphone scored a display score of 164 points and an audio score of 142 points. The Pixel 8 Pro was launched on October 4 and will be available in India on October 12. Priced at Rs. 1,06,999 for the lone 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which is available in Bay, Obsidian and Porcelain colours.
It runs Android 14 out of the box and has a 6.7-inch Quad-HD (1344×2992 pixels) resolution. It is powered by Google’s non-core Tensor G3 SoC and Titan M2 security chip. Pixel 8 Pro is equipped with a 5,050mAh battery and supports 30W wired charging.
In terms of optics, the Pixel 8 Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera with a Samsung GN2 sensor with f/1.68 aperture, and a 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. There is also a third 48-megapixel telephoto camera equipped with a Samsung GM5 sensor. For selfies, the smartphone comes with an 11-megapixel camera.
