Google Pixel 8 Series Unboxing Videos Show Off New Phones Ahead of Launch

Google is preparing to unveil its next-generation smartphones — the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro — as well as new wearables at its “Made by Google” event on October 4. The company has already teased the design of new Pixel phones, as well as some new wearables. Its specifications have been known from multiple leaks. In the latest update, a short unboxing video of the Pixel 8 series is now available on YouTube, allowing you to get a hands-on look at the design and packaging. The regular Pixel 8 comes in gray, while the Pixel 8 Pro comes in matte black. Both models are expected to run on the Tensor G3 SoC.

Google will also showcase the Pixel 8 series at the “Made by Google” event in New York on October 4 at 10:00 am local time (7:30 pm US standard time). The Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Buds Pro will also debut at the event. In India, the phones will be available for pre-order via Flipkart from October 5.

The Pixel 8 series of smartphones are expected to run on Android 14. The regular Pixel 8 is expected to feature a 6.17-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model is said to feature a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They can run on Tensor G3 SoC. They come in two RAM options (8GB and 12GB) and two storage options (128GB and 256GB RAM).
