Genesis Neolun Concept

New York – modern Genesis is looking into the future of its increasingly well-known luxury brand with a new large-scale all-electric concept car called Neolun.
The full-size SUV sports a sleek exterior design with long horizontal headlights and taillights reminiscent of the brand’s current electric vehicles, but more modern.
The interior of Neolun – derived from the Greek “neo”, or “new”, and the Latin “luna”, meaning moon – is minimalist compared to many of the latest concepts, including door-to-door screens . The SUV features a large central screen with physical buttons underneath, and a control panel and knobs to the driver’s right.
The vehicle’s front seats can swivel to face rear-seat passengers and become lounge seats.
“The Neolun Concept is a concept model that showcases Genesis’ future vision and the brand’s overall direction in terms of product, design and technological advancement,” Genesis said in an emailed statement.
Automakers often use concept cars to gauge customer interest or show the future direction of a vehicle or brand. These vehicles are not intended for sale to consumers.

The company declined to say whether the vehicle is a preview of an upcoming large all-electric SUV from Genesis, which has been expanding its lineup in the U.S.
Genesis sales in the U.S. increased 23% last year compared with 2022, to a record 69,175 vehicles. Genesis, which became its own brand in 2015, outsold more established luxury rival Infiniti and is expected to continue growing this year.
“Our independent retail footprint is rapidly expanding and the brand continues to achieve record-breaking sales in the U.S.,” Tedros Mengiste, vice president of sales operations for Genesis Motor America, said in a press release last week express.
