The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition was launched in select markets across the world on Thursday (September 14). The latest smartphone from the Transsion Holdings sub-brand is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC and offers similar specifications to the regular Infinix Note 30 VIP. However, there are some differences in design and packaging. Infinix collaborated with BMW’s Designworks to develop the new phone. It has a tri-color light strip on the rear panel and comes bundled with BMW-themed retail packaging. The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition price, availability
The newly launched Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition will be available in select markets around the world price tag Approximately USD 315 (approximately Rs. 26,000). However, the company has not revealed the amount of RAM and storage it will come with. Details about the launch of the new phone in India are yet to be revealed.
The Infinix Note 30 VIP was launched in June with a starting price of $299 (approximately Rs. 24,600). It comes in 8GB and 12GB RAM options with 256GB of standard onboard storage.
Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition Specifications
The specifications of the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition are the same as the regular model. It runs on Android 13 with XOS 13 out of the box and features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 900 nits peak brightness, and support for 1920Hz PWM dimming. Like the regular Infinix Note 30 VIP, the Racing Edition also comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and ARM Mali G77 MC9 3D GPU.

Infinix has collaborated with BMW Group’s Designworks to develop the Note 30 VIP Racing Edition. The rear panel uses 3D Lighting Leather technology and is paired with a three-color light strip to show BMW Moto Sport elements. This band of light symbolizes speed, performance and power. In addition, it also offers a BMW-themed retail package with a 15W wireless charger and TWS headphones.
In terms of optics, the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition features a triple rear camera unit that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor and dual 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. For selfies and video chats, there is a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Additionally, it has up to 256 GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the phone include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, OTG, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, light sensor, and proximity sensor. The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and includes a Z-axis motor. The phone includes dual speakers with support for JBL and High-Resolution Audio.
Infinix has equipped the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition with a 5,000mAh battery. The battery supports 68W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone weighs 190 grams and measures 162.66×75.89×8.78 mm.
