Infinix Zero 30 5G Pre-Orders to Start in India on September 2; Key Specifications Revealed

Infinix Zero 30 5G confirmed to launch in India soon. The phone is likely to succeed the Infinix Zero 20 5G due in December 2022, which packs a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. Infinix has now confirmed the phone’s pre-order date in the country. The company previously revealed the design of the phone and has now confirmed other key specs of the Infinix Zero 30 5G, with more teasers to follow in the coming days.

The highlight of the phone is the confirmed 50-megapixel front-facing camera sensor that is said to offer 60 fps video recording at 4K resolution. The feature appears to be aimed at a growing number of content creators and is said to be a first of its kind.

The Infinix Zero 30 5G is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides. The display will feature a 6.78-inch curved 10-bit AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and a peak brightness of 950 nits.

Notably, the Infinix Zero 20 5G is 7.98mm thick. However, the Zero 30 model is said to be 7.9mm thick, which the company claims is the thinnest phone in the segment. It was previously launched in lilac and gold color options. Now, the phone comes in an extra green version with a lychee-like leather finish.

According to the Flipkart microsite, camera and processor details will be announced on August 28 and August 30, respectively. However, informant Nithin Prasad (@_the_tech_guy) tweet Infinix Zero 30 5G is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 built-in storage.

According to the leaker, the phone’s triple rear camera unit will include a 108-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The Infinix Zero 30 5G also packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging. The source added that the phone is expected to be priced below Rs. India has 25,000 people.
