iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus With an Aluminum Frame Survive Durability Test

Apple recently launched the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus alongside the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Since launch, the phones have passed multiple tests, including durability tests, which showed that the back glass of the titanium-framed iPhone 15 Pro Max could easily break. Durability tests now show that lower-end models of the iPhone 15 series with aluminum frames are less susceptible to damage.

in a video News posted on YouTube channel JerryRigEveything states that both the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have undergone a series of tests to check their durability. The displays on these phones come with Apple’s Ceramic Shield protection, which makes them virtually scratch-proof, with only slight lines visible on multiple scratch attempts. However, the aluminum bodies of these iPhone 15 phones (including the side edges, base, and upper arch) are not unscathed and can be easily scratched. Still, when trying to bend the phone from the back and front, the structural integrity of the model remains strong. iPhone 15 Pro Max fails this test Because the back panel cracked during the bend test.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by Apple’s in-house A16 Bionic SoC and feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED displays respectively. They also have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

In terms of optics, the phones feature a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. The front of the phone is equipped with a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera. The base model is said to offer up to 20 hours of battery life, and the Plus model is said to offer up to 26 hours of battery life.

iPhone 15 price in India starts at Rs. It starts at Rs 79,900, while the iPhone 15 Plus model starts at Rs 79,900. 89,900. The phones are available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants.
