iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro Purported Colour Options Visualised in Renders Ahead of Debut: Details

Color options for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have been visualized in renders and are expected to debut next month as successors to last year’s iPhone 14 series of smartphones. While Apple hasn’t revealed any details about the phones, one publication has shared renders of the iPhone based on leaked information. This year, Apple is expected to ditch the two existing colorways in favor of a new option for the so-called iPhone 15 Pro model, which is said to feature a titanium body.

detailed rendering Created by 9to5Mac’s Ian Zelbo, it shows off the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in black, blue, green, pink and yellow options. According to the publication, the rendering was generated from a “detailed color code” provided by the source. The render shows the rear panel of the smartphone in pastel colours. The camera module sits in the upper left corner, and the dual camera setup follows a familiar diagonal layout.

Meanwhile, renders created for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max show the phones coming in blue, silver, space black, and titan gray. All four color options point to a triple rear camera setup for the upcoming phone, which looks very similar to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

While these leaked renders don’t include these details, the upcoming iPhone 15 series is expected to feature a USB Type-C port, unlike previous models that supported Apple’s proprietary Lightning connector. Reports suggest that the iPhone 15 series will support Thunderbolt/USB 4 and faster charging (up to 35W).

Likewise, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are said to use an action button instead of the company’s signature mute switch. The button is said to be programmable, and recent reports and leaked case images suggest that it could be customized to perform certain functions on the smartphone in addition to toggling silent/ring mode. While these hardware changes aren’t visible in the renders, the company is expected to unveil them at its next event, which is reportedly likely to take place on September 12.
