According to MacRumors ReportThe iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to feature a 48-megapixel rear main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a significant improvement over the 12-megapixel main sensor of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. There is also said to be a secondary 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and f/2.4 aperture.

The report adds that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models are expected to feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX803 primary rear sensor with an f/1.78 aperture, and a 12.7-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens with an f/2.8 aperture, and a 13.4-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The high-end iPhone Pro Max is expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens.

A recent report suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro variants could cost more than the previous model, as rumored upgraded hardware could include a new titanium case (instead of stainless steel) and a periscope on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. type lens.
