Ahead of the September 12 launch, a new leak has surfaced online revealing the camera specs of the iPhone 15 models.
According to MacRumors ReportThe iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to feature a 48-megapixel rear main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a significant improvement over the 12-megapixel main sensor of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. There is also said to be a secondary 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and f/2.4 aperture.
The report adds that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models are expected to feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX803 primary rear sensor with an f/1.78 aperture, and a 12.7-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens with an f/2.8 aperture, and a 13.4-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The high-end iPhone Pro Max is expected to feature a periscope telephoto lens.
A recent report suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro variants could cost more than the previous model, as rumored upgraded hardware could include a new titanium case (instead of stainless steel) and a periscope on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. type lens. The new body is expected to reduce the weight of the iPhone models.
This year, users in India can get the iPhone 15 on the same day as the global launch. A report has suggested that the iPhone 15 models produced under the “Make in India” campaign may be launched at the same time as the global launch of the series, with hardly any delay. Meanwhile, sources recently said that the iPhone 15 Pro Max launch could be delayed by up to four weeks from its September 12 release date due to camera sensor production issues.
