iQoo 11 Confirmed to Get Android 14-Based Funtouch OS 14 Preview Soon: How to Apply

iQoo today announced the release date of a custom Android 14-based software skin beta for select iQoo 11 5G users. Funtouch OS 14 is confirmed to be launched on September 18th. The first 500 iQoo 11 users who sign up for the Funtouch OS 14 preview program will receive the latest beta update. The iQoo 11 was launched earlier this year and runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. It comes with a 6.78-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display.

iQoo, via postal on X (formerly Twitter) has confirmed that it will launch the Funtouch OS 14 beta version for iQoo 11 5G starting on September 18. The company says that only the first 500 applicants will be able to sign up for the Funtouch OS 14 preview, which will be released next week. It will be based on Android 14 which is yet to be released. Registration for the upcoming operating system update has begun.

To apply for the Funtouch OS 14 preview program, iQoo 11 users need to go to Settings > System Update > Settings available in the upper right corner > Trial version and complete registration on their smartphones. Once selected, users will get the latest operating system updates.

The iQoo 11 5G was launched earlier this year with Funtouch 13 based on Android 13 out of the box, with the company promising up to three years of Android updates and up to four years of security patches. The phone features a 6.78-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. iQoo 11 5G is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM.

The iQoo 11 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor with OIS support, a 13-megapixel telephoto/portrait sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There’s also a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
