Itel P55 5G was launched in India on Tuesday and is claimed to be the cheapest 5G smartphone in the country. The machine is equipped with Dimensity eight-core chipset and supports wired fast charging. It comes with an AI-powered dual rear camera unit and is available in a single storage variant and two color options. Itel India has also launched the Itel S23+, a budget smartphone with a curved AMOLED display. The company has extended the phone’s warranty by two years and is offering free screen replacement within 100 days of purchase.

The single 8GB + 128GB variant of Itel P55 5G is available in Blue and Green color options and is priced at Rs. 9,999. The phone will be available for sale through Amazon India from October 4.

Itel P55 5G Specifications, Features

Itel P55, which supports dual Nano SIM cards, features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1600 x 700 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage, which can be expanded to 256GB via microSD card. The phone comes preloaded with Android 13.

In terms of optics, the Itel P55 5G includes a 50-megapixel primary rear camera unit, along with a secondary AI camera and LED flash. The front camera is equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor. The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W wired fast charging.

Itel P55 comes with a side fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. It offers 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity.
