Itel S23+ With 5,000mAh Battery, 50-Megapixel Dual Rear Cameras Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Itel S23+ was unveiled in India on Tuesday (September 26) as the latest budget smartphone from the Chinese brand. The new phone features an AMOLED 3D curved display with a punch-hole cutout in the center. Itel S23+ is powered by Unisoc T616 4G SoC and comes with up to 8GB of RAM. It offers memory fusion technology that allows users to utilize unused storage space to expand available memory up to 16GB. Itel S23+ is equipped with 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging. The phone will directly compete with the likes of the newly launched Lava Blaze Pro 5G, Infinix Hot 30 5G and Moto G52 in India.

Itel S23+ price, availability in India

The newly launched Itel S23+ is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the only 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It is available in Elemental Blue and Lagoon Teal. The launch details of this new phone are currently unclear.

The Itel S23+ was launched in select global markets earlier this month and is priced at 148,000 Nigerian Naira (approximately Rs. 15,800).

The dual-SIM Itel S23+ runs Itel OS 13 based on Android 13 and features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED curved display with 500 nits peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, It has an ultra-high screen-to-body ratio of 93%. The screen has a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is powered by the 12nm Unisoc T616 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. With dynamic RAM expansion technology, users can allocate up to 8GB of phone storage space into RAM to improve performance.

In terms of optics, the Itel S23+ has an AI-enabled dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it houses a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. It comes with 256GB onboard storage.

Connectivity options on this device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Itel S23+ is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging.
