Jio Bharat B1 4G With 2.4-Inch Display, Pre-Installed JioPay Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Jio launched its new affordable 4G feature phone Jio Bharat B1 on Thursday, October 12. It is the latest addition to the range of budget feature phones like the Jio V2 series and Jio K2 Karbonn. However, the B1 variant is listed as part of a different series on the official website, suggesting there could be more models in the same lineup in the future. The newly launched mobile phones come with multiple Jio apps pre-installed and support multiple regional Indian languages.

The Jio Bharat B1 4G is available in Single Black color and is priced at Rs. 1,299, available through official Jio website and through Amazon.

Notably, both Jio Bharat V2 and Jio Bharat K2 Karbonn are priced at Rs. 999.

Jio Bharat B1 4G Specifications

Jio Bharat B1 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA rectangular display. This feature phone runs Threadx RTOS and comes with 0.05GB RAM. The phone comes with a Nano SIM card that supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB connections.

The phone supports 4G connectivity and can expand the memory up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes with a 2,000mAh battery and is said to have a standby battery life of up to 343 hours. The Jio Bharat B1 also has an unspecified rear camera unit. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, weighs 110 grams and measures 125mm x 52mm x 17mm.

Jio’s latest feature phone supports 23 languages, including many regional Indian languages. It also comes pre-installed with JioCinema and JioSaavn for accessing entertainment content such as movies, TV series, sports and music. Jio Bharat B1 comes with built-in JioPay, allowing users to make UPI payments.
