Global payments giant Mastercard continues to explore the benefits of cryptocurrency through a new partnership with crypto payment platform MoonPay.
Monthly payment official declare On October 25, a partnership was launched with Mastercard to jointly explore how Web3 tools can improve experiential marketing or find new ways to connect with Mastercard consumers.
The company also reported on X (formerly Twitter) that MoonPay Enterprise President Keith Grossman and Mastercard Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Raja Rajamannar announced the partnership at Money20/20 in Las Vegas.
“Mastercard will leverage MoonPay’s entire Web3 portfolio, including ETHPass’ minting license, and work closely with our agency Otherlife to provide strategy, creative and front-end development work for their experience program,” Grossman wrote In a post on LinkedIn.
In addition to new Web3 consumer experiences, MoonPay will also work to integrate Mastercard products and solutions to increase compliance and trust across the Web3 industry. MoonPay will exclusively integrate Mastercard’s Click to Pay, Mastercard Send and Mastercard Crypto Credentials tools into its payment solutions.

“We’re very grateful for this collaboration and are even more excited about what’s ahead.” Adam Polansky, Web3 Marketing at Mastercard, commented on Grossman’s post.

As of this writing, Mastercard has yet to make an official announcement. The company did not immediately respond to Cointelegraph’s request for comment.
Mastercard has actively explored the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries in recent years, adding a variety of industry products to its platform.
