Motorola Edge 40 to Be Available Under Rs. 25,000 During Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale

Motorola Edge 40 is the successor of Motorola Edge 30 and was launched in India in May this year. Flipkart has confirmed that the phone will be available at a lower price than the usual market price during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale. The Big Billion Days sale is one of the e-commerce company’s biggest promotions. This year’s sale coincides with Amazon’s Great Indian Festival and starts on October 8. Apart from the Edge 40, a range of smartphones and other electronic gadgets will also be available at discounted prices during the sale.

According to the promotional image on Flipkart, the 8GB + 256GB variant of the Motorola Edge 40 can be purchased on the e-commerce website for as low as Rs. 23,999 units were sold during the Big Billion Days Sale. This price reduction includes select bank transactions and exchange offers. It can also be purchased on monthly EMI starting at Rs. 4,167. Motorola Edge 40 specifications

Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB USF 3.1 built-in storage. The phone supports e-SIM cards and comes preloaded with Android 13.

In the camera department, Motorola Edge 40 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens on the back, alongside two LED flash units. The front-facing camera has a 32-megapixel sensor housed in a center-aligned punch-hole slot at the top of the display.

Motorola Edge 40 is equipped with a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W wired TurboPower charging through the USB Type-C port. It also supports 15W wireless charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. For security, the phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock. The phone has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
