OnePlus has yet to launch its first foldable phone, the Open, but rumors appear to be gearing up for its next high-end flagship, the OnePlus 12. The OnePlus 12 will be a replacement for the brand’s current flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 11 5G. It has the form factor of a regular chocolate bar with a greater focus on performance and imaging. According to recent leaks, it is expected to come with multiple upgrades. Now, there’s more information about its redesigned camera bump, special finishes, and more about the camera hardware.
According to tipster digital chat station (from Weibo) 1, 2,) OnePlus 12 will debut with a very unique look. There is reportedly a white glass variant, which sources say will use a “diffuse process” that is technically supposed to blur all reflections on its glossy exterior. This reportedly looks very unique and should also enhance the phone’s “tactile appeal.” In terms of weight, it is expected to weigh as much as Oppo’s recently launched Find X6 Pro smartphone.
There is something new in the design of the rear camera module, which has also been discussed in previous reports. According to the tipster, it will remind many of a watch as it appears to be similarly inspired. While the lens design remains unchanged, it incorporates a watch-like design, giving it a completely different look.
