According to reports, the upcoming wearable device will receive 48dB active noise cancellation (ANC) support. It can reportedly be connected using Bluetooth 5.3 or Google Fast pairing. OnePlus Buds 3 is also said to support dual connectivity. The earphones have an IP55 rating and are expected to be water and dust resistant, while the charging case is said to have an IPX4 rating.
In terms of battery, the earphones can be equipped with a 58mAh battery, while the charging box can be equipped with a 520mAh battery. With ANC turned off, each earbud has the same battery life as the Buds Pro 2, offering 9 hours of battery life. At the same time, it also provides 33 hours of battery life. On the other hand, the OnePlus Buds 3 are said to offer 6 hours of headphone battery life and 22 hours of headphone battery life with ANC turned on.
The company has not yet revealed any details about the device. However, according to previous reports, the Buds 3 may be unveiled alongside the OnePlus 12 in January 2024. The headphones are expected to be lighter compared to the Buds Pro 2.
