OnePlus Open Foldable Phone Spotted Ahead of Possible October India Launch

Meanwhile, there have been some leaks and rumors about the design and specifications of the phone, which is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Now, ahead of the India launch, Indian actress Anushka Sharma has reportedly been spotted with the OnePlus Open smartphone.

Previous reports suggested that the OnePlus Open may adopt an outward-folding design. This would be similar to several other Android foldable phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Pixel Fold, and Vivo X Fold 2. The price of the foldable phone is expected to be fixed under Rs. 1,20,00. In terms of specifications, it is likely to feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with 16GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. The OnePlus Open smartphone is expected to feature a 7.8-inch AMOLED inner screen and a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover screen.

The foldable phone is said to come with a triple rear camera unit housed in a circular module. The device is dominated by a 50-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel periscope lens. For selfies, it may include two 32-megapixel front camera sensors.
