Oppo Teases Find N3 Flip, India Launch Rumoured to Take Place on October 12

Oppo India seems to be gearing up to launch its next foldable phone just seven months after the launch of its predecessor. The Oppo Find N3 Flip is not an entirely new smartphone, but appears to be an iterative update of its predecessor, the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which was also launched in India earlier this year. Oppo seems content with vertically foldable form factors for now, while OnePlus appears to be entering the horizontal foldable market with its upcoming OnePlus Open, which has been officially unboxed after several leaks. While Oppo is yet to announce the official launch date of the Find N3 Flip in India, it has already started releasing teasers. Meanwhile, a source also revealed a potential release date.

After releasing two teaser videos showcasing the foldable phone’s design and triple-camera setup, Oppo is now running a contest to promote it. Winners can enter a draw held from October 3 to 24 to win an Oppo Find N3 Flip or some Oppo audio accessories. In fact, this hints at a release within this time frame.

Tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) also exclusively reported a few days ago declare Oppo Find N3 Flip will “most likely” be launched on or before October 12. latest posts The foldable screen on the on X is also marked “coming soon,” indicating that its launch is imminent.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip was launched in China on August 23, and it instantly became the first clamshell foldable phone to feature a triple rear camera setup. The smartphone is launched in three colors – Mirror Night (black), Mist Rose (pink) and Moonlight Muse (gold). In addition to the triple rear camera setup (which now includes a 32-megapixel telephoto camera), Oppo also sports a slightly larger cover display that measures 3.26 inches diagonally and has the same vertical alignment as before, just a new display The screen is a bit wider than the one on the outgoing model.

In terms of core hardware, the machine is equipped with Dimensity 9200 SoC (upgraded from Dimensity 9000+), equipped with 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage space. The device has the usual connectivity options and a side-mounted fingerprint reader, same as before.

While we expect the global version to have similar core specs to the Chinese version, recent leaks have also revealed app support on the cover display. The previous model, like its then-rival Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, only supported a handful of gadgets for native and third-party apps. This is expected to change with the global model, which is said to support a long list of third-party apps, which also includes many from Indian services like Zomato, Swiggy, BookMyShow, mAadhar wait.

While the leaked image only shows a launcher on the cover screen with a few apps pinned to it, it’s unclear whether the phone can run all of those apps on the cover screen itself. If it can do that, Oppo’s Find N3 Flip will rival Motorola’s Razr 40 Ultra, the only one to date that has managed to do so.
