The wearable is said to feature Fitbit’s multi-path heart rate sensor, allowing for heart rate tracking even during rigorous workouts.
Pixel Watch 2 is expected to be equipped with a number of health features based on Fitbit’s stress management system. The body response tracking system will help the smartwatch keep tabs on the user’s stress levels. Additionally, input from cEDA (continuous electrodermal activity – microscopic sweat beads) can be used to detect stress.
It will also reportedly get some fitness and safety features. It is said that this smart watch can automatically remind exercise plans based on the detection of user activity. Pace training is said to help track the user’s pace. For security reasons, Pixel Watch 2 is said to allow users to schedule timers and send reminders before sharing information such as location or contacts.
Another feature of the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 is said to be emergency sharing, which will help users share their immediate location with emergency contacts. It can also help share medical information in emergencies, if needed.
Additionally, the smartwatch is expected to offer up to 24 hours of battery life with an always-on display. According to reports, Pixel Watch 2 will also offer fast charging support, allowing users to charge from 0% to 100% in just 75 minutes.
