PS Plus October 2023: Callisto Agreement
The spiritual successor to Dead Space, Callisto Protocol transports you into a futuristic maximum-security Black Iron prison that has been overrun by bloodthirsty parasitic aliens. Players assume the role of prisoner Jacob Lee and must fight their way through endless hordes through bloody, claustrophobic passages, uncovering a larger conspiracy along the way. Slice off limbs, blast them into chunks of flesh, or use your telekinesis powers to grab enemies from afar and hurl them into the razor. The game received mixed reviews upon launch, for lacking originality and sticking too closely to Dead Space’s roots.
Game director Glen Schofield recently left Striking Distance Studios “to pursue new opportunities,” which can be attributed in part to the poor sales of Kalisto Protocol. It will be playable on PS4 and PS5.

The locations and actions you perform for a faction are entirely up to player choice, and permadeath is one of them.
