Reliance Jio on Friday launched two prepaid mobile plans bundled with Netflix subscription.
The company says this is the world’s first prepaid bundle partnership with Netflix.

Our partnerships with global partners such as Netflix continue to grow, and together we are Jio Platforms CEO Kiran Thomas said in a statement:
Some Jio Postpaid and Jio Fiber plans already offer Netflix subscriptions, but this is the first time Netflix subscriptions are offered in a prepaid plan.
After this launch, over 400 million Jio prepaid customers will have the option to subscribe to Netflix through Jio prepaid bundles.

The company offers two plans priced at Rs. Netflix subscription for Rs 1,099 gets you $1,499 valid for 84 days.
The program costs Rs. 1,099 will provide a Netflix mobile subscription, unlimited 5G data or 2 GB of 4G data per day, and unlimited voice calls.
Netflix mobile is sold separately at Rs. 149 per month, and only allows viewing content on mobile phones.
Higher plans for Rs. 1,499 will provide the basics of Netflix, allowing users to watch on their phone or TV at the same time. It will offer similar benefits to the lower-priced version, but will include 3GB of 4G data per day.

The 2GB data plan with unlimited voice calls and 84 days validity costs Rs. 719, and the same plan with 3GB data starts at Rs. 999.
