Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Spotted on Geekbench With Exynos 1280 SoC: All Details

The Samsung Galaxy A24 may have a successor soon. The South Korean giant may launch the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G soon. The phone has been rumored for a while, and now it appears to have appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website, hinting at details about its processor and RAM. According to the listing, the phone may come with an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, CAD renders of the phone have been leaked before, hinting at a triple rear camera setup. The display is also said to come with a waterdrop notch.

according to a Checklist On Geekbench, the alleged model number of the Galaxy A25 5G is SM-A256B. This listing was first discovered by the folks at MySmartPrice. This suggests that the phone will have up to 8GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 14-based One UI 6.0 out of the box. The listing also suggests that the Samsung phone will have 6 cores clocked at 2.00GHz and 2 cores clocked at 2.40GHz, which appear to belong to the Exynos 1280 SoC.

On benchmarking sites, the Samsung Galaxy A25 scored 973 points in the single-core test and 2,106 points in the multi-core test. Apart from that, the Geekbench listing doesn’t reveal any other details.

Previously, detailed renderings of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G were leaked, hinting at a black version. Judging from the leaked renders, the smartphone appears to be similar to the Galaxy S23 5G. The upcoming phone features a triple rear camera setup housed in three separate circular slots located vertically on the top left corner of the back panel. However, on the front, it can be seen getting a waterdrop notch.

Additionally, the power button and volume rockers of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G are on the right side, while there may be a SIM card slot on the left side. There is a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the phone. According to the leaked renders, the phone may offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone.
