Samsung Galaxy M44 landed on the Geekbench certification website in July this year. Now, a few months later, the alleged smartphone has appeared on another certification listing, confirming the moniker. The upcoming model from the Korean tech giant is expected to launch as the successor of the Galaxy M34. On Geekbench, it has model number SM-M446K. The smartphone is expected to come with 6GB RAM and run Android 13. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy M34 was launched in July.

This device is listed for Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity support. Apart from the model number and Bluetooth version, the listing does not confirm any other specifications about the smartphone.
Meanwhile, a previous Geekbench listing suggested that the smartphone could come with up to 6GB of RAM. It is expected to run Android 13 out of the box and be handled by Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. At launch, the so-called Samsung Galaxy M44 5G scored 1,531 in the single-core test and 3,771 in the multi-core test.
As mentioned above, the Galaxy M44 is likely to debut as the successor to the Galaxy M34, which is powered by the company’s in-house Exynos 1280 SoC. It runs One UI 5 based on Android 13. This smartphone features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy M34 comes with a triple rear camera unit that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a third sensor. There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The smartphone is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that is said to offer up to two days of battery life. In India, Samsung Galaxy M34 5G price starts at Rs. 16,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
