Samsung Galaxy S24 Renders Tip Flat Display, UWB Antenna; Design Shown From All Angles

Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S series has been popular since its launch, and people also have high expectations for next year’s Galaxy S24 series. Like the Galaxy S23 series, the upcoming lineup is expected to include at least three models – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ahead of its official launch, high-quality renders of the original Galaxy S24 have surfaced online. The images show the phone in light blue color with a flat display.

The alleged renders of the Galaxy S24 are shared By Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks), in partnership with Smartprix. The leaked renders show the phone’s light blue hue from all angles, showing very few changes compared to this year’s Galaxy S23. It features a flat frame design with slightly rounded edges and a punch-hole cutout on the display to accommodate the selfie shooter. Additionally, it will reportedly include an ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna on the right side. If this rumor is true, this will be the first time Samsung supports UWB technology on the Galaxy S series.

The back of the Galaxy S24 features a triple rear camera unit along with a matte LED flash. Similar to the Galaxy S23’s design, three separate camera sensors are placed one behind the other, with a prominent camera ring and an LED flash.

Furthermore, the dimensions of the upcoming phone are said to be approximately 147 x 70.5 x 7.6 mm. Galaxy S23 dimensions are 170.9×146.3×7.6mm.

Previous reports stated that the Galaxy S24 will be equipped with a 6.1-inch dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, support HDR10+, and come with Gorilla Glass protection. It’s expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, but it’s also possible it will use the company’s in-house Exynos 2400 SoC in select markets. Other leaked specs include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera unit, a 12-megapixel selfie camera, and an IP68-rated build. It is said to be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series of smartphones were launched earlier this week, and all three models of the Korean company’s premium phones have received some upgrades. What to do if prices rise?
