Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition was launched in India on Thursday. This is a special version of the phone, which was launched in India a month after it was unveiled at MWC 2023 in March. The new version was launched to commemorate the successful completion of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission. To recall, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual camera and two LED flash. The new version of the smartphone will go on sale next week and is already available for pre-order.

Last month, India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission safely landed on the moon, becoming the fourth country to walk on the lunar surface. To commemorate this particular feat, the phone maker has announced the Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is priced in India at Rs. 11,999 for the 16GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. The product will go on sale on September 15th and is currently available for pre-order. The smartphone will be sold through online stores as well as offline retail channels.

Tecno Spark 10 Pro Lunar Exploration Edition Specifications

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition has similar specifications to the original model that was launched in India and global markets earlier this year. It features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with 16GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. It runs on HiOS 12.6 based on Android-13.

It comes with a 50-megapixel dual camera setup along with a 32-megapixel AI lens for selfies and video calls. According to the company, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition is equipped with a 5,000mAh lithium battery that can be charged to 50 percent in just 40 minutes. The phone is said to have a battery life of up to 27 days in standby mode.
