Twitter officially changes its name to “X” Elon Musk changed its iconic bird logo on Monday, marking the latest major shift since he took over the social media platform.

Earlier Sunday, Musk posted a short video of a flashing “X.” Asked if the logo in the Twitter Spaces audio chat would change, he said “yes,” telling an unidentified spokesman: “We’re cutting the Twitter logo off the building with a blowtorch.”

“Soon we will be saying goodbye to the Twitter brand, and gradually to all birds,” he wrote.
