Vivo T2 Pro 5G India Launch Confirmed, Colour Option Teased: Details

The company has confirmed the launch and availability of Vivo T2 Pro 5G in India. The phone is expected to arrive in India via Flipkart soon. Vivo’s post suggests that the smartphone will debut in at least a gold color variant. The upcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G is said to have a punch-hole in the top center of the display. The specifications of the phone were previously leaked, hinting at a 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will succeed the Vivo T1 Pro 5G, which was launched in India in May 2022.

Tuesday, vivo comfirmed A post via X (formerly Twitter) states that the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will be launched in India soon. The smartphone will be available for sale through Flipkart. However, the company is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the smartphone. In the post, the smartphone was teased to have at least a gold color option and a hole-punch display. The right edge of the smartphone houses the power and volume buttons. Apart from this, the company has not revealed any details about its specifications and features.

Previously, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G was expected to feature a 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 1200Hz. It is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone is expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The thickness of the phone is 7.4 mm.

The upcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G is likely to succeed last year’s Vivo T1 Pro 5G. The latter will be launched in May 2022 with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12. The phone features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,404 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC.

In terms of optics, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video chats, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens.
