Vivo V29 Pro and Vivo V29 were launched in India on Wednesday (October 4). The Chinese smartphone brand’s latest V-series smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The regular Vivo V29 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, while the Vivo V29 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The Vivo 29 series runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and comes with three rear cameras. They are the successors to the Vivo V27 series, which debuted in the country in March. Both models are equipped with 50-megapixel selfie lenses, are equipped with 4,600mAh battery units, and support 80W fast charging.

Vivo V29 Pro price in India has been set at Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. The higher-end model with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 42,999. It comes in Himalayan Blue and Space Black shades. Vivo V29, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 32,999 and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 36,999. It is available in Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and Space Black color options.

The rear camera supports different video and photography modes, including slow motion, micro motion, super moon, dual scene, instant photo, panorama and time-lapse photography. It has a 50-megapixel sensor on the front with autofocus.

Vivo V29 Pro comes with 256GB of built-in storage. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, Beidu, GLONASS, Galileo, Navic, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometers, ambient light sensors, electronic compasses, gyroscopes and proximity sensors. Additionally, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

Vivo V29 Pro is equipped with a 4,600mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. The fast charging technology is said to charge the battery from 0% to 50% in just 50 minutes. Its dimensions are 164×74.37×7.4mm and its weight is 188 grams.
