Vivo V29 Series Set to Launch in India on October 4: What We Know So Far

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V29 series will be launched in India on October 4. The product line is expected to include the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro base models. The company confirmed that the new V29 series of mobile phones will be sold through online and offline channels. It is worth noting that Google will also launch the Pixel 8 series and other products at the Made by Google event on the same day.

The base model of Vivo V29 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (2800 x 1260 pixels) curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, the same as the global variant. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with Adreno 642L GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. It is expected to run FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.

In the camera department, the phone is confirmed to have a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel camera with Smart Aura light on the back and a 50-megapixel sensor on the front. Selfies and video calls.

The base phone will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. The phone will be equipped with a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The Vivo V29 model is available in three color options – Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and Space Black, with the red variant having a color-changing rear panel. The basic and professional versions are expected to weigh 186 grams and 188 grams respectively. It was revealed that they are 7.46mm thick.
