Vivo V29e Teased to Feature 64-Megapixel Dual Rear Cameras, 50-Megapixel Selfie Shooter

The Vivo V29e is expected to launch in the Indian market soon. A dedicated landing page has gone live on the Vivo India website, confirming its design and specifications, more specifically its camera details. The Vivo V29e features dual rear cameras and a color-changing back panel. It is confirmed to feature a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Its profile is rumored to be as thin as 7.57 mm. The Vivo V29e also seems to feature a punch-hole display design.

For selfies and video chats, the phone is said to feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Renders on the microsite show the phone with a 3D curved screen. It is said to be the thinnest 3D curved screen phone with a screen curvature of 58.7 degrees and is priced at Rs. 25,000 rupiah 30,000 price segment. It has slim bezels on all four sides, and the front-facing camera is placed on a punch-hole cutout in the top bezel.

On the back, the Vivo V29e features a color-changing glass panel. The technique is touted as transforming rich tones into more glamorous shades. It is available in Art Red and Art Blue colors. The color-changing technology will be exclusive to the Art Red version.

Additionally, the Vivo V29e is said to feature a slim design of 7.57mm. It also weighs 180.5 grams.

According to past leaks, the Vivo V29e will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options. It runs on Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13. The phone is said to be powered by Snapdragon 480 5G SoC or Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. It is expected to feature a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W charging.

It is expected to be a close sibling to the Vivo V29 Lite 5G that was launched in the Czech Republic in June this year. It is expected to be available domestically via Flipkart.
