Vivo Y17s was launched in India on Monday. The smartphone joins the Vivo V17 base model, which was launched in the country in April 2019 and comes with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and a 5,000MP battery. The Vivo Y17s is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC and comes in two color options and two storage variants. The phone comes with dual rear camera units and IP54 rating.

Vivo Y17s 4GB + 64GB variant is priced in India at Rs. 11,499, while the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,499.The phone goes on sale on October 2 and can be purchased through official channels of Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo website and other offline Vivo cooperative stores. It is available in Forest Green and Shimmer Purple color options.

This dual-Nano SIM-supported smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB eMMC 5.1 built-in storage. The phone runs FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13.
Vivo Y17s is equipped with a 50-megapixel main rear camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor in the camera department. The front-facing camera is housed in a center-aligned waterdrop notch at the top of the display and houses an 8-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone also supports 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and FM radio connectivity. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and IP54 dust and water resistance rating. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
