Vivo Y200 5G India Launch Date Set for October 23; Colour Options Teased

The Vivo Y200 5G is expected to succeed the Vivo Y100 and has been confirmed to launch in India next week. The company also revealed the color options of the upcoming phone. Meanwhile, key specifications of the upcoming phone and its price were also recently revealed. Leaked renders of the phone’s design have also leaked online, hinting at the phone’s design.

The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that the Vivo Y200 5G will be launched in India on October 23. Promotional images of the upcoming launch also reveal that the phone will be available in two color options. The colors seen in the promotional images match those previously leaked. According to a recent report, the phone is said to be available in Desert Gold and Jungle Green color options. The promotional images also confirm that Vivo Y200 will come with Aura Light feature. It is located on the rectangular camera module in the upper left corner of the rear panel, next to the dual camera unit and LED flash.

Vivo’s new phone is expected to be priced in India at Rs. 24,000. Vivo Y200 5G is likely to be launched in the country with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is said to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) AMOLED display and is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. It is likely to run Android 13-based Funtouch OS out of the box.

On the camera front, the upcoming Vivo Y200 5G is said to offer a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery and supports 44W wired fast charging. The weight is said to be 190 grams and the thickness is 7.69mm.
