Vivo Y36, Vivo Y02t Get Price Drop in India Months After Official Launch

The Vivo Y36 was launched in India in June this year with a single RAM and storage configuration. The smartphone was priced at Rs. The domestic price of the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version is 16,999 units. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y02t debuts in May 2023 with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. A few months after the launch, Vivo announced a price cut for the two smartphones. The Vivo Y36 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC, while the Vivo Y02T is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Vivo stated that Announce Cut prices by Rs. 1,000 for the Vivo Y36. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 16,999 and is now priced at Rs. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is priced at 15,999. Apart from this, Vivo is also offering an additional discount of Rs. USD 1,000 on selected card purchases with ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, OneCard, IDFC Bank, Federal Bank, Yes Bank, Bank of Baroda and IndusInd Bank credit card EMI transactions. This makes the effective price at Rs. 14,999. However, the extra discount is only valid until September 30th.

On the other hand, the price of the Vivo Y02t has dropped by Rs. 500, bringing its price down to Rs. 9,499 rupees compared to the issue price. 9,999, the only 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. However, there are no extra banking benefits for buying this smartphone.

Both the Vivo Y36 and Vivo Y02t are available for purchase at: Amazon India website and Vivo’s online store. To recall, these smartphones run Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The Vivo Y36 features a 6.64-inch full HD+ LCD display and is powered by an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 680 SoC. In terms of optics, it comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The Vivo Y02t, on the other hand, sports a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display and is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
