Xiaomi 13T Pro, Xiaomi 13T With MediaTek SoCs, Leica Tuned Cameras Launched: Price, Specifications

On Tuesday (September 26), Xiaomi launched the Mi 13T and Mi 13T Pro at a global launch event in Berlin. The new smartphone features a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a Leica-tuned 50-megapixel triple rear camera. Xiaomi Mi 13T Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, while the regular model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC. They come with a 5,000mAh battery. Both models will receive four major Android updates and five years of security patches. The Xiaomi Mi 13T series looks almost identical to the Redmi K60 Ultra but offers some camera upgrades and IP68 water and dust resistance certification.

Xiaomi 13T Pro price start The 12GB + 256GB version is priced at €649 (approximately Rs. 28,500) in Europe. The 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at a whopping €699 (approximately Rs. 32,000). The Xiaomi Mi 13T price starts at EUR 549 (approximately Rs. 22,000) for the 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage variant.

Both smartphones are available in Alpine Blue, Black, and Meadow Green color options. The new Xiaomi phone is now available for pre-order in the UK.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Mi 13T Pro runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and features a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution (1,220×2,712 pixels) display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz sampling rate, and 2880Hz PWM touch dimming. The screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The latest flagship phone is confirmed to receive four major Android version upgrades and five years of over-the-air (OTA) security updates. It runs on MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. It comes in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB memory and storage configurations. In terms of thermal management, Xiaomi uses LiquidCool technology in its mobile phones, equipped with a 5000mm square stainless steel vapor chamber and multi-layer graphite sheets.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi 13T Pro comes with Leica-branded triple rear camera units, including a 5-megapixel Sony IMX707 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) with f//1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel sensor with f//1.9 aperture. 50-megapixel telephoto lens and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video chats, there’s a 20-megapixel front-facing lens with an aperture of f/2.2.

Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Mi 13T Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou NavIC, and USB Type-C port. Onboard sensors include accelerometers, ambient light sensors, electronic compasses, proximity sensors, linear motors, infrared emitters, flicker sensors, and color sensors. In addition, the machine is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and supports AI face unlocking function. It also includes an X-axis linear vibration motor for gaming. The phone is also equipped with dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Both models in the new series are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.

Xiaomi 13T Pro is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The battery is rated to provide up to 17 hours of video playback on a single charge. Additionally, the fast charging technology is claimed to charge the battery from 0% to 100% in just 24 minutes in standard mode and 19 minutes in Boost mode. It measures 162.2×75.7×8.49mm and weighs approximately 200 grams.

The Mi 13T runs the same software as the Mi 13T Pro and uses the same display. However, the regular model is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS3 storage. It is available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations.

Common features on the Mi 13T and Mi 13T include 50-megapixel triple rear cameras, 20-megapixel selfie sensor, and IP68 rating.

Xiaomi has equipped the Mi 13T with the same 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W Turbo charging. This fast charging technology is claimed to charge the battery from zero to 100% in just 42 minutes. The phone is said to provide up to 16 hours of video playback time on a single charge. It measures approximately 162.2 x 75.7 x 8.49 mm and weighs approximately 193 grams.
