On Tuesday, Xiaomi launched the Mi Watch 2 Pro in Berlin and announced the global release of the Mi Band 8. SmartBand 8 was first launched in China in April. Now, this smart wearable device will be available in Europe. It is available in two ribbons. The Watch 2 Pro, on the other hand, will be available with two connectivity options (e-SIM and Bluetooth) and in two color options.

The Mi Watch 2 Pro Bluetooth version starts at €269 (approx. Rs. 23,700), while the e-SIM version is priced at €329 (approx. Rs. 28,300). It comes in two color options – black case with black fluoroelastomer strap and silver case with brown leather strap.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is available in black and white color options and is priced at EUR 39.9 (approximately Rs. 3,500). Both smart wearable devices can be purchased through Xiaomi’s official European website.
Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Pro specifications and features
Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Pro uses a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a peak brightness of up to 600 nits, and a pixel density of 326ppi. It is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 wearable platform and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. It comes with Google’s WearOS and has a rotating crown.
In addition to more than 150 sports modes, Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Pro is also equipped with an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, barometer and bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor. This smartwatch also has 5ATM water resistance.
Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Pro is equipped with a 495mAh battery. The LTE version has a battery life of up to 55 hours, and the Bluetooth version has a battery life of up to 65 hours. The watch weighs 54.5 grams and measures 47.6mm x 45.9mm x 11.8mm.

Xiaomi Mi Band 8 is equipped with a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels, a pixel density of 326ppi, and a maximum brightness of 600nits. It supports Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0 or above, and is equipped with more than 150 training modes and smart health assistants.
This smart wearable device helps monitor SpO2, heart rate and sleep, and can track menstrual cycles. It comes with a 190mAh battery and is said to have a battery life of up to 16 days without enabling the always-on display mode. Xiaomi’s latest smart band also has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. The strap weighs 27 grams and measures 48mm x 22.5mm x 10.99mm.
