Market Movers rounds up the best investor and analyst reactions to Disney. Professionals, including Jim Cramer, discuss the theme park operator after extending CEO Bob Iger’s contract through 2026. Iger returned to the role late last year following the abrupt departure of former CEO Bob Chapek. Iger said in an exclusive interview with CNBC’s David Faber on Thursday that Disney may consider selling its linear TV assets as part of a transition to streaming and digital entertainment. Iger acknowledged that navigating the media landscape proved more difficult than he had anticipated as he was rebranded chief executive. Shares of Disney were little changed after news of the contract extension and are up about 1% so far this year. Disney is currently held by the Cramer Charitable Trust portfolio.
