Honor launched the Honor 90 Pro in China in May this year, along with the regular Honor 90. Now, the former Huawei subsidiary is reportedly developing the Honor 100 Pro. Honor has yet to reveal a release schedule. However, according to reliable sources, the Honor 100 Pro smartphone will be launched in November. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Honor 90 Pro is also said to be equipped with dual front cameras. Honor 90 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Tipster Weibo digital chat station release Honor 100 Pro will be launched in early November. It is expected to enter closed beta next month. According to the tipster, the phone will feature a 1.5K resolution display with 3,840Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming. It is said to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. If the leaks are true, this will be an upgrade to the Honor 90 Pro, which was powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In addition, the Honor 100 Pro is expected to be equipped with dual front cameras.
Honor has not yet confirmed the launch schedule of the Honor 100 Pro. So it’s safe to take these details with a grain of salt.
It is said that the Honor 100 Pro is expected to be upgraded based on the Honor 90 series. Both Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro were launched in China in May with initial prices of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,160) and CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,000) respectively.
The Honor 90 Pro features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1,200 x 2,664 pixels) curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits, and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. As mentioned earlier, it is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
For photos and videos, the Honor 90 Pro comes with a triple-camera setup that includes a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32-megapixel telephoto portrait lens. For selfies, it comes with a 50-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It comes with up to 512GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 90W wired charging.
