Honor V Wallet was launched in China on Tuesday. The phone is currently available as part of a limited pre-sale offer. It is an outward-facing foldable smartphone and the company has launched it in three color options. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging. The phone made its debut at the IFA 2023 trade show in Berlin. Honor showed off a prototype and said the phone would not be released to the public.

The 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions of the Honor foldable smartphone are priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 68,400) and CNY 6,599 (approximately Rs. 75,300) respectively. The company is yet to confirm the global launch of the phone.

Honor V wallet specifications and functions

This foldable smartphone features a 7.71-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,348 x 2,016 pixels and an aspect ratio of 10.5:9. After folding, the display becomes a 6.45-inch panel with a resolution of 2,348 x 1,088 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.4:9. This monitor has a refresh rate of 90Hz, a PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. It comes with MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.

In terms of optics, the Honor V Wallet is equipped with a 500,000-pixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera has a 9-megapixel sensor.

It has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 35W wired fast charging via USB Type-C. The always-on external display can also be customized to match the user’s clothing. When folded, the Honor V Wallet measures 156.5mm x 74.7mm x 8.6mm and weighs 214 grams. Unfolded dimensions are 156.5mm x 135.6mm x 4.33mm.
