what bitcoin does Podcaster Peter McCormack admits he “has a weird relationship” with Twitter because he believes it “brings out the worst in people”.

He managed to build more than 500,000 followers to promote his show, but is still not sure if Twitter has “net positivity” because it “makes people more stupid.” He also included himself in this assessment.

“I could feel myself being an asshole to other people (on Twitter). Like, I criticize it and then realize I’m a hypocrite myself for doing it,” he said.

He’s more of a fan of podcasts, though, amassing a million listeners a month through his insightful interviews with A-list guests like MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor, ARK Invest’s Cathie Wood, and analyst Lyn Alden.

McCormack got into podcasting “by accident” after spending two decades in digital marketing and running her own agency for a while. When he listened to health guru Rich Roll, he developed a craving for it. podcast And decided he “wanted” the same job.

McCormack dipped into Rolle’s DMs and managed to get some free coaching from them.

“I went to one of his events and he said if you’re in LA, get in touch. So, I was in LA (and messaged him), ‘Hi, I’m here. How do I do this podcast?’ He directed I.”

McCormack’s hard work paid off what bitcoin does Gradually becoming one of the most well-known Bitcoin podcasts in the entire industry. The enormous success he has enjoyed has brought him “all sorts of pressures” as he is now an employer in charge of a small business.

“There are seven people making this podcast right now — I don’t want to screw things up. There are seven people whose salaries depend on it,” he said.



McCormack soon took charge of parts of his hometown of Bedford.

This British town with a population of nearly 200,000 has left its mark on the global bitcoin map, and it’s all because of McCormack’s decision to buy local football club 2021.

McCormack renamed the club “Royal Bedford Football Club” and fans can pay for merchandise, tickets and drinks with bitcoin. He also bought local pubs in Bedford.

According to McCormack, his brother believed he was treating “Bedford” like a monopoly board, slowly buying up the town. But he doesn’t see it that way.

“I think it’s more about I want my town to do well, and I want the people in my town to do well. I’ve traveled the world with this podcast, and now I want to start a business in my hometown and support my hometown. “

What made Twitter famous?

McCormack doesn’t think there’s “any secret” to building a Twitter following, other than trying to “bullshit.”

“I’ve worked really hard over the past six years and have stayed as open as possible about bitcoin and politics,” he said. The effort paid off in 2021 when he was invited to meet Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to discuss Bitcoin.

So overall, he can see both good and bad aspects of Twitter. “It’s great for promoting the football club and what I’m doing, but it’s troublesome at the same time,” he said.

What type of content can you expect?

McCormack explained that his tweets are mostly “bitcoin and football’ and made it clear that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

“If you like bitcoin and you like football, then it totally works. The whole thing works. But if you don’t like football, I think football actually has a negative effect on what I’m doing. They’re like, Fuck me I don’t care about these football things.”

A thorough Bitcoin enthusiast, he regrets ever dabbling in other cryptocurrencies.

“Bitcoin is the only thing I care about; I don’t need to focus on all these other things,” he said.

However, McCormack is an interesting figure politically because he cannot be neatly drawn on the left or right of the political spectrum. For him, he approaches each issue on its merits.

“Personally, I try not to get caught up in ideology. I don’t care if your views are conservative or progressive. If I agree, I agree. If I don’t, I don’t.”

McCormack recently received “a bag of junk mail” that claimed “Peter McCormack and Eric Wall are liars”.

He blames “Richard Heart and his fucking Hex idiots,” and admits he hasn’t shied away from his thoughts on Heart and his HEX project in the past.

“I don’t like what he’s done (…) I got a lot of shit from them and now I’m getting literal shit.”

McCormack revealed that his son, who was in charge of picking up the mail from his office, was the unlucky man who had to open the package, leaving him devastated by the ordeal.

“Sometimes I get cool stuff. My son doesn’t know what that (a bag of shit) means. He says it’s not cool, what else can they give you?”

What do you like?

McCormack isn’t afraid to admit that he “likes these memes” every now and then.

He’s also a big fan of the “macro theory” of economist Lyn Alden and Alex Gladstein, chief strategy officer at the Human Rights Foundation.

Future Outlook:

McCormack is opposed to CBDCs, arguing that “it’s bullshit and a dystopian surveillance technology for mass control.”

He believes that “regulators need to stop fucking interfering with life (and getting in the way of work).”

As for predicting bitcoin’s price, McCormack doesn’t usually make bold predictions.

In fact, he is quite the opposite.

When asked where Bitcoin’s price would go over the next 12 months, McCormack’s answer was like that of a seasoned politician: “Up, down, or sideways (…) you won’t take it from me. Get these!”

“Bitcoin will eventually recover; we will have another run around the Bitcoin Monopoly Commission.”
