iQoo Z8 Specifications, Colour Options Leaked Online; Said to Launch Next Month

iQoo is reportedly planning to launch the iQoo Z8 in China next month, expanding its Z series of smartphones. Ahead of the official details, detailed specifications of the phone, including processor, RAM, display, and camera features, were recently leaked on Weibo. It is said that the iQoo Z8 is expected to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which can be paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM. The phone is likely to succeed the iQoo Z7 that was launched in India earlier this year.

According to Weibo postal iQoo is working on a successor to the iQoo Z7, the iQoo Z8, which could debut next month, according to a leaker Digital Chat Station. The rumored iQoo Z8 phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The leaker also claims that the phone will feature a 6.64-inch flat LCD display with full HD+ resolution and high refresh rate. On the front, it could also have a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the camera.

The phone also has dual rear cameras that include a 64-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and videos, the upcoming iQoo Z8 is said to feature a 16-megapixel sensor. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to run Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0. It draws power from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.

Apart from that, a recent report suggested that the iQoo Z8 might launch in black and blue colors. The smartphone could be priced similarly to the iQoo Z7 in China at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 18,400).

The smartphone may launch as the successor to the iQoo Z7 that was launched in India earlier this year. The phone is available in 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configurations. It features a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) resolution.
